    William West Seegmiller's academic career began at the University of California, Davis. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UC Davis.

    Following graduating from the prestigious University of California school, he attended the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific, the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and Pepperdine University's Rick J. Caruso School of Law, in that order.

    He pursued more legal studies at Harvard Law School, Trial Lawyers College, and Fielding Graduate University.

    McGeorge School of Law

    West Seegmiller is a law graduate of the University of the Pacific's McGeorge School of Law. He received his Juris Doctorate at the McGeorge School of Law. He was a member of the Trainor Moot Court Team and the Pacific Law Review. McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific is an American Bar Association-approved law school.

    McGeorge School of Law, situated in Sacramento, California, is housed on UOP's Oak Park campus. Seegmiller enrolled in the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific in 1976 and graduated four years later in 1980.

    University of Southern California

    William West Seegmiller also attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. The lawyer and philanthropist enrolled in California's oldest private research institution to pursue a Master's degree in real estate.

    From 2007 to 2009, the Seegmiller Law Firm founder attended the prestigious college to get his Master's degree in Real Estate.

    Rick J. Caruso School of Law

    William Seegmiller went on to study at Pepperdine University eight years later. He graduated from Pepperdine University's Rick J. Caruso School of Law in Los Angeles County, California, in 2017 after studying Advanced Law.

    He maintains close ties with the university and donates to its scholarship program every month.

    Achievements in Professional Life

    West Seegmiller has an impressive professional track record, as indicated by a considerable number of six-figure awards totaling more than $150 million in settlements and verdicts.

    The personal injury lawyer and philanthropist is also a popular public speaker. He is frequently invited to talk at prestigious law schools around the country on various issues. These subjects include the advantages of mediation, which Seegmiller says is critical in limiting interruption during litigation measures.

    As a freshly trained lawyer, he established his law practice and excelled in representing clients in situations such as wrongful death claims for more than three and a half decades. He is also known for collecting significant verdicts against enormous national and multinational businesses.

    Award Recognition

    In 2015, William West Seegmiller got the Golden Advocate Award for Largest Verdict. His Golden Advocate Award acknowledged a $40 million damages judgment obtained for a single client. In the same year, the Litigator Awards rating website recognized him in the top one percent of all U.S. attorneys.

    The American Institute named him one of North America's Top Attorneys the following year. He has also won a Premier 100 Award from the American Academy of Jurisprudence and a Distinguished rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

    Participation in Philanthropic Activities

    West Seegmiller is a devoted supporter of various charitable organizations and is actively part of his local community. He consistently gives scholarships at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law and Pepperdine University, where he graduated. The famous lawyer has long supported the Special Olympics and the Boy Scouts of America.

    As an arts patron, he has sponsored a dancer known as Bolshoi Ballet and contributed to other theater groups. He previously backed a $50 million expansion effort at Oak Valley Health's Markham Stouffville Hospital. His support allowed the hospital to meet the ever-increasing requirements of the local population.

    Volunteer Efforts

    William West Seegmiller has been involved in several volunteer projects abroad. These include steps to help impoverished families in Cuba, Guatemala, and Mexico. Along with the charitable group Corazón, he assisted in the construction of homes for disadvantaged people in Mexico. Corazón focuses entirely on the critical significance of self-sufficiency.

    The foundation, supported by dedicated volunteers from the United States and Mexico, seeks to build houses and open doors for families living in disadvantaged regions throughout Mexico. He has also made multiple personal trips to Cuba, where he has distributed vital dental and medical supplies to deserving families.

    Today, the charitable legal expert freely devotes his time to the Reinhart Foundation. The Reinhart Foundation exists to give life-changing desires to severely sick children.

    Personal Interests

    Outside of his professional and charity pursuits, private pilot license holder West Seegmiller is passionate about various hobbies and interests.

    His hobbies and interests include aviation, writing, and travel, and he has already explored the Northwest Passage and Antarctica. As a writer, he contributed to a best-selling book about the essential ingredients of commercial success.

    He is a supporter of the arts and a film buff, and he has worked as an executive producer on numerous films. These include the movie Atone (2019) and Maximum Achievement: The Brian Tracy Story (2017), for which he got a coveted Golden Reel Award.

    William West Seegmiller recently returned from a journey to Mt. Everest, where he celebrated his 72nd birthday.
